Welcome to Cornerstones of Magick. In spiritual practice a Temple is a place of learning, sanctuary, devotion, joyous exploration, community and  coming to “Know Thyself”. It is for these reasons that I have chosen this construct for our next level of study.

As a magical practitioner I have spent much of my time of personal growth within the astral Temple I created long ago. In the beginning I visualized the design and decor of this space and placed my consciousness within its walls as I sat in meditation or ritual. As the years progressed and my deeper understanding of the Craft has evolved, I have come to realize that this Temple is not just the construct of my imagery, but is the combined product of my magickal experience, the teachings I have received and offered and is continually with and around me as I moved in the manifest world.

My Temple of the Wise exists as a co-creation of all aspects of my being  and all levels and states of my consciousness. This Temple is my mind, action, heart and physical form. It is all that I have been, am and will be. It is, quite simply, myself as the embodiment of my belief and spiritual practice. 

Overview of the Course:

Our studies will construct a Temple of the Wise  based upon the Four Elemental Pillars of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. These will be erected from a Three-Fold Vision reflecting the realms of creation. The Temple will contain Four Great Halls of learning and serve as the libraries of your accumulated experience deeper gnosis. All of these components that go into the work of building and creative effort will hold their resonance…..

And be grounded in a foundation of Practical experience.

We will craft the boundaries of Halls of learning

That will inform our place in the world as a

Seeker on the Path of the Wise.

These Visions will guide the construct of our Pillars of support. Our goal is one of creating connection to the Manifest, Spiritual and Divine worlds.

The Blue Print of Design…..

We will cycle through each of the Four Elemental Pillars as we build layer upon layer of understanding and reach. We begin erecting our Pillars from the Vision of Practical Experience and each completion of the four rises through a cycle created from the Vision of Spiritual Experience and finally the Vision of Divine Experience.

Creating the Floor Plan…..

Each month’s building of a pillar will be a four-part(weekly) process that lays the foundations of Four Halls of learning to be used within your Temple.

Wk. 1-The Hall of the Lady – The Goddess
Explorations of the Goddess in all of Her Forms and forging deeper connection to the Divine Feminine.

Wk. 2-The Hall of the Lord – The God
Exploration of the God in all of His forms and forging deeper connection to the Divine Masculine.

Wk. 3-The Celestial Hall of Wisdom – The Magick of the Cosmos
The energy of the Planets and Stars and realization of our place within the greater Cosmos.

Wk. 4-The Hall of Divination – The Wisdom of the Oracle
We will use the tool of the Tarot to awaken our intuitive self. We begin with the cards of the Major Arcana.

As with any building project, there will be inevitable additions, refining and in this case, purposeful delays (where focus may be lengthened on a specific topic) that will ensure a strong and durable end product.

Lesson Plans and other information will be added as we move through this upcoming week. We will begin the process of clearing the land and laying the foundation on August 9th.
