Do not wait; the time will never be “just right.” Start where you stand,
and work with whatever tools you may have at your command,
and better tools will be found as you go along.

Developing Your Spiritual Practice
Knowing the basics of the Craft, acquiring the Tools, creating your Book of Shadows and Light and all that we have discussed thus far will not be sustained unless you have established a regular practice that feeds and enhances those components that are the basics of a Wiccan Path.

The Path of Devotion
Pursuing a magickal path is hard work and requires discipline and practice, practice and more practice. As we move through this lesson, we’ll take a look at those things that comprise a basic form of spiritual practice. As you become more adept at the magick you are working, those practices will change.

Know Thyself
The famous quote that stood above the entryway to the Oracle of Delphi states: “Know Thyself”. In magickal work, we need to know all the parts of self that comprise our physical and spiritual being. The greater the knowledge we have of our inner workings the more drawn we become towards walking The Path of Devotion.

I Sing the Body Electric
We move through this world as energetic beings and offer up our Devotion whole heartedly, body, spirit and mind. Enhancing that energy requires us to see ourselves as The Body Electric- vibrant and full of light and life. We will explore other tools that can be used to facilitate an effective personal practice and set up a few guidelines to follow in establishing a time-line that is proactive, productive and doable.

Foundations of Practice:
The Foundations page this month will be excluded as the entirety of this lesson is centered around those practices which form your core studies.

Reading and Resources:
Reading and resource suggestions are scattered throughout this month. Be sure to check out all that are recommended and add a few of your own to be revisited and reviewed.

Time to Grow
So, let us begin the work at hand and make this work our own set of practice….

I sit in the quiet of the space
Of my creation.
Breath and manifest being
Weaving a dance of life.

The singing bowl rings in harmony
With the levels of my being
And throat gives way to
Tone of vibration
And sounds of the
Universe.

I am whole
And complete.

My practice is that of
Knowing and my magick
Weaves through time
Anchored
In my
Stillness…..
